Hotels and Accommodation clients use Trade to fill excess capacity and increase occupancy rates.
- The Deal? A local hotel joined TEC to purchase, without cash, $25,000 worth of advertising and power-washing for its façade. The hotel then sold $25,000 worth of room nights during slower periods of the year to other TEC members
- Cost? Since these rooms were going to be empty anyway, the only incremental cost to the hotel would be the cleaning fee of around 15% of the cost of the room.
- Savings? The hotel thus saved $21,250 in cash!
